Felt Sewing - 7th & 8th grade

The students learn the global context and application of sewing, and apply that to contemporary art. They learn 3 beginning stitches and the basics of sewing. They learn to take a 2-D design and form it into 3-D through patterns. They apply a variety of shapes, colors, and embellishments into a composition. Finally, they sew and stuff!
